The Matte and Gloss kit we have designed for this frame is not a 100% match the split paint finish this is due to split in the paint being in a high wear area so would compromise the life of the kit and also the split in the paint work finish is slightly different on each frame so it is impossible to create an exact finish to match. The kit we have designed gives the look of a split finish without compromising the protection kit.

(The kit displayed has the matte top tube as per customer request. )

At invisiFRAME, we have developed a custom cut, size and finish specific protection kit for your e-bike frame. The 2020 Merida E One Sixty Limited Aluminium kit has been designed to maximise coverage but to also be user-friendly.

 

The kit is cut from XPEL Ultimate Plus Gloss or Stealth Matte automotive-grade, non-yellowing and self-healing film that is used in NASCAR and off-road motorsports.

 

The full frame kit will include protection for the top tube, head tube, down tube, back of seat tube, seat stays, chain stays and a full dot sheet as standard. As each frame design is different some kits may include extra parts.

 

Also included in the kit is a full fitting and removal guide, and a shape key to ensure correct shape positioning.

 

When purchasing this kit online you will receive a FREE fitting squeegee.

 

Please be aware that the film is not suitable for the application to anodized frames due to the coarse texture of the frame finish.

Finish
This is purely an aesthetic decision. There is no performance or material difference between the two finishes. We usually recommend matching the finish of the kit to the finish of your bike. Where we offer a Gloss and Matte mixed kit, this will be as close a representation not an accurate match of the split in the finish so not to compromise the longevity of the kit.
